This is a heavy duty special tool made for Mercury Tilt Caps Only on all Mercury V6 Trim & Tilt Units 

Works on Gen 1, 2 & 3 Units 1986-2017 135hp -300hp Gen 1 is a side fill unit 

135 150 175 200 225 250 300 

This is a precision made part for a tight fit when biting into a End Cap / Gland this prevents slipping

If too much force is applied the pins may break or damage to the cap can occur. 

If you need more leverage we incorporated a 1/2 Socket for a breaker bar. 

Be careful when removing as some caps require heat before they move
